Chapter Meeting Dates and Events March 21st Membership Drive. On the 21st we invite anyone wanting to become a member, are a member and not active or just want to see what Trout Unlimited is about. Come in on the 21st and meet the chapter. If you are new to fishing or new to the area come and we will share some secret spots and hints for the upcoming season. Membership is $35.00 yearly. April 18th Stream Cleanup. As a new season opens our Neversink gets many visitors, on the 18th we will be meeting at the D& H Canal Museum, off of Route 209 near the Nial Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary School, Cuddebackville, Once the clean up is finished, stick around for some early fishing on the Neversink. If by chance we are getting April showers we will have a rain date of the 25th . Any one new to the sport that can use some instruction, stay after the clean up and we will have that available as well as opening season tips. May 16th Catskill Program. Program details to be announced. This will either be a rodmaker, tyer or Catskill Legend Program. June 20th Picnic and Rod Drawing If you have not gotten your ticket for the bamboo rod drawing get one by this date! On 20 th we will host a BBQ and fundraiser. We will have the classic hamburger/hot dog and fixings along with homemade side dishes. The food with be delicious and the auction will be filled with “must have” items. Location to be announced. Trout Unlimited - New Meeting Location The Neversink Chapter of Trout Unlimited will now have their monthly meetings at Gander Mountain at the Crystal Run Plaza, 100 N. Galleria Drive, Middletown, New York. Monthly meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month, starting at 10: 00 AM. Please note that the April 18 meeting will not be at Gander Mountain but will be held in the field on the Neversink River for our annual stream clean up, beginning at 10:00 AM at the D&H Canal Museum off of Route 209. You do not have to be a member of Trout Unlimited to attend meetings. The public is invited. If you are interested in environmental conservation or just want to go fishing come to one of our meetings or call for more information at 845-856-8946.

Stream Clean Up For Spring The Neversink Trout Unlimited Chapter will conduct a stream cleanup of the Neversink River on Saturday morning, April 18 at 10:00AM. Members will be meeting at the D& H Canal Museum, off of Route 209 near the Nial Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary School, Cuddebackville, During the morning hours, litter and debris will be collected and removed from the banks of the river. Lunch and fishing will follow in the afternoon. The chapter normally meets on the third Saturday of each month at Gander Mountain at the Crystal Run Plaza, 100 N. Galleria Drive, Middletown, New York. The spring stream clean up will take the place of the April meeting. Trout Unlimited is a national environmental organization whose mission is to protect, enhance and conserve cold water fisheries, the habitat for trout and salmon. You do not have to be a member of Trout Unlimited to participate in the stream clean up. The public is invited. Bring your own lunch and a pair of work gloves. If you are interested in getting involved with environmental water projects or are if you are just looking for friendly company and want to go fishing then come on out and meet some of the local members of Trout Unlimited.
